However, for those of us on a budget, it's often more practical to enjoy our meals onboard the ship and reserve our funds for memorable experiences rather than souvenirs (although there's absolutely nothing wrong with treating yourself to a trinket or two).

Getting the Best View
Enhance your visit to the Citadel by going for a bit of a hike up to its majestic summit. Trust us, the views you'll witness from the top are absolutely spectacular and well worth the effort. We must admit, however, that we made a bit of a blunder and forgot to bring euros with us, which meant we couldn't actually go into the citadel. Nevertheless, even without stepping inside its walls, our time up there was far from ruined.
Looking down upon the city and coastline from the Citadel was an awe-inspiring experience. The panoramic vistas were simply breathtaking, providing a bird's-eye view of the charming city and its stunning coastal landscape. While we couldn't explore the interior of the Citadel, we heard that it houses a fascinating maritime history museum. So, if you're searching for an activity that doesn't require extensive planning, a long drive, or a large budget, visiting the Citadel of Saint-Tropez might be a perfect option for you.
